Ryan says that you can peel a sweet potato and eat it by baking, boiling, roasting, frying, steaming or cooking it in a pan. You can put different seasonings on it.

For this you need flour, sweet potato, salt, chili, cumin powder, coriander and oil or ghee. You can choose the quantity of all the ingredients according to your need.

  • Boil the sweet potato and mash it.
  • Add salt, chilli and cumin powder to it.
  • Now add chopped coriander in it.
  • Take a ball of dough and roll it and fill it with a bag of sweet potato and then close it and roll it like a roti.
  • Put it on the pan, roast it from both the sides and serve.

Sweet Potato Poha

You can also make healthy poha for kids. For this you need one cup poha, one cup sweet potato (chopped), one small onion chopped, one green chilli chopped, one pinch turmeric, one spoon sugar, two spoon lemon juice, coriander for garnish, salt as per taste, Water as needed, asafoetida, cumin and one teaspoon oil.

To make poha, wash and soak the poha and let it become soft. Then squeeze the poha. Now put a little on the pan and add asafoetida and cumin seeds and fry it. After this add onions and green chilies and let the onions cook.

Now add sweet potato and mix it and cook till the sweet potato becomes soft. Then add poha and mix. Add sugar and salt to it. Cook it for two to three minutes and then switch off the gas. Now garnish it with coriander.
