PGI Hospital registers cases against 8 people due to corruption in medicines with fake sign

Medicines worth lakhs of rupees have disappeared from inside the pharmacy located at PGI Hospital in Lucknow, capital of Uttar Pradesh. It is alleged that these employees kept making fake signatures of the doctors and disappeared the medicines of the pharmacy in the name of the patients. This was known when the documents related to expensive drugs were checked during the stock checking. During this, it was found that more than a dozen hospital officials are involved.

The security officer has named Tahrir against eight employees. PGI Kotwali police have registered a case and started searching for the accused employees.

Inspector PGI Ashish Kumar Dwivedi told that Manoj Kumar Saxena, Security Officer in-charge of Sanjay Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Nripendra Singh, Moh Madam Seem Khan, Pawan Kumar, employees working in Pharmacy and OPD, regarding mis-disappearance of medicines from hospital pharmacy. A case has been launched against Singh, Ashutosh Kumar Yadav, Arvind, Vineet Shukla, Hari Tiwari and Anil Yadav to search for the accused employees.
