Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday congratulated Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for the resounding victory of the Trinamool Congress in West Bengal and assured that the Center will continue to extend all possible support to fulfill the aspirations of the people and win the Covid-19epidemic. . Modi tweeted, “Congratulations to Mamata Didi for the Trinamool Congress victory in West Bengal.” The West Bengal government will continue to extend all possible support from the Center to achieve victory against Covid-19and fulfill the aspirations of the people. ”

The Prime Minister also thanked the people of West Bengal for supporting the BJP on this occasion. In another tweet, he said, “I thank the brothers and sisters of West Bengal for blessing our party.” Earlier our presence was negligible and from there onwards our presence has increased significantly. ”

The Prime Minister said that the BJP will continue to serve the people of West Bengal. He praised the efforts of BJP workers for hard work in the election.

The Trinamool Congress seems to be heading towards a thumping majority in West Bengal, defying the estimates of a tough contest. According to the trends so far, the ruling Trinamool Congress is leading in 202 seats while BJP is leading in 81 seats in the counting of votes for 292 assembly seats.

The BJP, which had won just three seats in the last assembly election, had given its full strength to oust the Trinamool Congress from power but could not succeed in its campaign.
