Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi met BSP chief Mayawati on Sunday. Priyanka Gandhi had reached Mayawati’s Delhi residence today to console her on the death of her mother. BSP leader Satish Chandra Mishra was also present during Priyanka Gandhi’s meeting with Mayawati. Earlier, Priyanka Gandhi had written in a tweet that the national president of Bahujan Samaj Party and former Chief Minister of UP, Mayawati’s mother, Ramrati ji got sad news. May God give him a place at his feet and give courage to the family members to bear the pain in this hour of grief. Peace.

Died due to cardiac arrest in Delhi
Ramrati, mother of former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati, died of cardiac arrest in Delhi on Saturday. Leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Samajwadi Party (SP) and BSP, including the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, condoled the death of the BSP president’s mother. A statement issued by the BSP said that 92-year-old Ramrati died at a hospital in the national capital where he was undergoing treatment. The BSP president had left for Delhi soon after getting information about her mother’s death.

CM Yogi and Akhilesh also expressed grief
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said in a tweet on Saturday, “The demise of Smt. Ramrati ji, revered Mataji of former Chief Minister of UP and National President of BSP, Ms. Mayawati ji is extremely sad. May Lord Shri Ram give place to the departed soul at his feet and give strength to the bereaved family members to bear this unfathomable loss. Expressing his deepest condolences to the family members, he has paid his tributes.
