Instead of comforting me that day, they were just trying to console us. And I am glad that they are keeping their promise. This morning I got a message from Kiran Rao. He has shared a picture of himself with Aamir Khan and Azad from Kargil, where they are shooting for Laal Singh Chaddha.
Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao have issued a joint statement sharing the news of their divorce. The joint statement read, “In this 15 years of togetherness, we have shared life experiences, been happy, laughed and our relationship only grew on trust, respect and love. Now we are going to start a new chapter of our lives. Now we will not live as husband and wife but as co-parents and each other’s family. We had planned to part ways sometime back and now we have parted ways.
Aamir and Kiran said about their son Azad, “We will remain dedicated parents to our son Azad and bring him up together. Apart from this, we will continue to work together in films, Paani Foundation and other projects. Thank you so much to our families and friends for their support and understanding of our relationship. Without it, we would not have been able to take such a big decision. We wish the blessings of our well wishers and hope that like us, you too will take this divorce not as an end but as the beginning of a new journey. Thank you Kiran and Aamir.
