Skoda New Sedan Skoda Slavia Launch Features: Czech Republic’s automile company koda Auto is presenting more than one car to the people in India. After introducing the Skoda Kushaq in the sub-compact SUV segment sometime back, the company is soon going to introduce the new mid size sedan Skoda Slavia in the Indian market which will be great in terms of looks and features. The upcoming Skoda Slavia will compete with sedans like the All New Honda City, Hyundai Verna and Volkswagen Vento in India.

Powerful platform based
The mid-size sedan Skoda Slavia is likely to be unveiled in November. It will be developed on the MQB AO IN platform, similar to the Skoda Kushak, and will be the third car built under the VW Group’s India 2.0 project. The Skoda Slavia will be the top segment car in India from the Skoda Rapid, which has taken care of special looks and features. The length of this sedan will be around 4.5 meters and there will be a lot of space in its cabin.

Look and Features
Talking about the look, design and features of the upcoming Skoda Slavia, it will get the signature butterfly grille with chrome, sharp headlamps with LED DRLs, sloping roofline, LED taillights, diamond cut alloy wheels, 10-inch with Android Auto and Apple Car Play support. There will be a touchscreen infotainment system, instrument console, electric sunroof, cruise control, climate control, connected car technology, ventilated seats, 6 airbags as well as premium sound system and many other special standard and safety features.

Possible price and engine power
Talking about the engine and power of Skoda Slavia, it will get a 1.0 liter 3 cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, which will generate 115bhp power and 200Nm torque. This sedan can also be offered with a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, which can generate 147bhp power and 250Nm torque. It can be offered with 6 speed manual and 6 speed torque converter automatic gearbox. Talking about the expected price, the Skoda Slavia sedan car can be launched between Rs 9 lakh and Rs 15 lakh.
