In Bharat Nagar area, a father’s son was stabbed to death in the chest. The deceased has been identified as 70-year-old Mahendra Pal. It is alleged that the father stabbed him to death with a knife. The mother, who came to the rescue, was also injured in the knife attack. After the incident, the absconding son was nabbed from the area by the police. The accused has been identified as Anil. Police have also seized the knife used in the incident. The police case has registered the case and handed over the body to the next of kin after the postmortem.
Mother said – son executed the crime
DCP Usha Rangnani has confirmed the incident. Actually, the F block with the Mahendra family lived in the Wazirpur Industrial Area. Police had received information about Mahendra stabbing her at around 9:30 AM. When the police reached the spot, there was blood splattered in the house. The knife nearby was also stained with blood. Mahendra’s wife Shanti Devi was also injured. Police questioned Shanti Devi. He told that son Anil has carried out this incident. She also stabbed her when she came to the rescue.

There were two deep marks of knife on the chest
Police seized the knife. The police came to know that Mahendra was taken to the Deepchand Bandhu Hospital in a blood-soaked condition. Doctors at the hospital declared Mahendra dead. Police handed over the body to the next of kin after postmortem at Babu Jagjivan Ram Hospital. The knife had two deep marks on Mahendra’s chest.
Stabbed after a gun
The police arrested Anil from the area within a few hours. On interrogating the accused, it was found that Anil had demanded fifty rupees from his father. The father refused to give the money. Both were discussed earlier. The father also scolded him. Anil stayed in the house for a while. But later, after removing the knife, he gave it to his father’s chest. Hearing the sound of their shouting, Anil had escaped by the time the neighbors could reach the spot.
