How to make laddus

To make these laddus, you need 125 grams betel nut, 50-50 grams of kayphal and Lodhra, 125 grams of gum, 1/2 kg of wheat flour, 1 dry coconut powder, desi ghee according to need, a small bowl according to the sweetness you like. Sugar, boora or jaggery.

Method of making betel nuts

The way to make these laddus that give strength to the body after delivery is:

  • Add a little ghee to the hot pan. Fry gum in hot ghee.
  • Take out the roasted gum in a separate vessel and grind it to a brittle.
  • Once again put ghee in the pan. Add flour to hot ghee.
  • Bake the dough well in a low heat for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Do not turn the heat on high. Bake the flour well. Turn off the gas after the bake.
  • Add powdered kamfal, ground betel nut and Lodhra to the hot flour.
  • Mix the mixture well. Now add the coconut and gum and stir the mixture once.
  • Separate the mixture into two parts. When cold, add sugar or jaggery to it.
  • Mix the mixture well by hand. During this, add some ghee.
  • Make laddus in small round shape.

Benefits of eating betel nut, kayphal and Lodhra ladoos

Betel nut, kayphal and Lodhra ladoos should start from the eighth day of delivery. Before this, women should eat dry ginger laddus. This ladoo should be started after eating dry gourd for 4 to 5 days.

Well these days, women should take very light diet so that whatever they eat, it is easily digested. If women eat hard or spicy food, then they may complain of indigestion, gas and constipation. To avoid these, eat only light things.
