The body of Sufi singer Manmeet Singh, who was missing after the cloudburst in Dharamsala, has been recovered. While the family and fans are shocked by the news of Manmeet Singh’s death, the pair of ‘Sain Brothers’ has also broken in the world of music. Manmeet hails from Amritsar, Punjab. He gained a lot of popularity with the song ‘Duniyadari’. Manmeet’s body was recovered from a pit near Kareri Lake in Kangra late Tuesday evening.

Reached Dharamsala with friends on Saturday
Manmeet was missing after a cloudburst in Dharamsala on Monday. Police and rescue team personnel were constantly searching for him. As soon as the news of Manmeet’s death came, there is an atmosphere of sorrow and sorrow in his native village Chheharta in Amritsar. It is said that Manmeet Singh along with his brother Karnpal and some friends had reached Dharamsala on Saturday.

Manmeet got washed away in the strong current of water on Monday morning
On Sunday, everyone went from Dharamsala to Kareri Lake. When it started raining in the night, everyone stopped there. In such a situation, when he started returning on Monday morning, Manmeet Singh got swept away in the water while crossing a pit. Efforts were on to find him immediately.

Rescue team found dead body with the help of villagers
Due to lack of mobile signal in Kareri village, efforts were made to trace Manmeet Singh with the help of villagers. There the local administration was also contacted. According to the report of ‘News 18’, SP Kangra Vimukt Ranjan told that Manmeet Singh was reported missing near Kareri Lake. After this a rescue team was formed and efforts were on to trace Manmeet Singh. On Tuesday evening, the rescue team found Manmeet Singh’s body from a pit. The body has been brought by the rescue team to Dharamshala.
