Certified copy of Supreme Court Judgment, proceedings can now be obtained sitting at home. The Supreme Court has launched web-based e-coping software. Under this, if the parties and the stake holders of the Supreme Court registry do not have to come and apply in a physical manner, they will not have to go to get a certified copy themselves.
Now e-coping software has been made available through the website of the Supreme Court, from where the parties can apply for such a copy. In a statement issued by the Supreme Court, it is said that by visiting the Supreme Court website www.sci.gov.in, the parties can take such copy, this copy will be valid under the Supreme Court Rules 2013.
Hearing will be done under the old juridiction only in cases before the implementation of the Consumer Protection Act-2019.
After the introduction of e-coping software, the existing rules are not going away, but online mechanism has also been arranged so that the party can apply for certified copy from there. Certified hard copy can be obtained by making online payment. In this way, the certified copy will be received at the postal address.
A certified copy can also be found from the registry. Under the current rule, the e-copy that will be certified will be given via email. Users will know the status of their application through SMS and email.
