The Special Staff Police of Rohini district has exposed the case of shooting and robbing a marble trader in Aman Vihar. The Special Staff has arrested 6 miscreants including the businessman’s employee and his cousin. The accused have been identified as Sonu, Rahul, Aman, Akash, Amit, resident of Mangolpuri and Aman, a resident of Peeragarhi. Sonu is the employee of the businessman, while Amit is his cousin. At the same time, Akash is a declared crook of Mangolpuri police station. The miscreants carried out the crime on the information of the employee. Police have recovered a pistol, a knife and a scooter used in the crime from the possession of the miscreants.
According to DCP Pranav Tayal, on September 21, the police got information about the robbery by shooting marble trader Pravin Mittal in Rama Vihar. The police reached the spot and found that Praveen was shot in the leg. After getting treatment, the police recorded Praveen’s statement. In which he told that he was in the warehouse at the time of the incident. Three miscreants who came by bike entered the warehouse and started looting. When he resisted, a miscreant shot him.

During the investigation, the police scrutinized the footage of around 100 CCTV cameras. Through which the police identified Akash, the declared miscreant of Mangolpuri police station. On October 1, Akash was arrested from the park in Rohini. Akash told the police that they looted on the information of Sonu, an employee of the marble trader and his cousin Amit. The police arrested Sonu, Amit and Rahul from Rohini Sector 22 on the same day. After that the Aman Vihar police station arrested two absconding miscreants Rohit and Aman from Rohini. During interrogation, it was found that Sonu had given information about the owner’s money to Amit, who gave this information to the miscreant Akash, who along with his accomplices carried out the crime.
