While Yamaha has 3 bikes in the top 10, Hero Motocorp, the country’s largest two-wheeler seller, is proving to be a laggard in the affordable sports bike segment and the company’s only bike in the top 10 150cc-200cc segment.

The bike that sold the most in the 150cc-200cc bike segment in July 2021 is TVS Apache. TVS Apache has sold 27,288 units in July 2021. After this, Bajaj Pulsar is at number two, whose 26,943 units were sold in July last. However, both these bikes have sold less in July as compared to June 2021. Next comes the number of Honda Unicorn 160, which sold 21,735 units in July. Yamaha FZ is at number four, with 18,066 units sold in July 2021. Yamaha R15 is at number five, with 7,280 units sold in July last. Yamaha MT15 bike of Yamaha Motors is at number six in terms of sales, with 5,316 units sold in July 2021.

Suzuki’s cool bike Suzuki Gixxer is at number 7 in terms of sales in the 150cc-200cc bike segment and in July last year, 2,937 units of this bike were sold. After this comes the number of KTM 200 bike, whose 2,019 units were sold in July 2021. Bajaj Avenger is at number 10 in the top 10, with 1,866 units sold in July last.
