Dwarkadhish Temple also known as Jagat Mandir is a Chalukya style of architecture, dedicated to Lord Krishna. The history of the city of Dwarka dates back to the time of the Dwarka kingdom in the Mahabharata. The five-storey main temple built of limestone and sand is grand and wonderful in itself. The 2200-year-old architecture is believed to have been built by his grandson Vajranabh, who built it on land acquired by Lord Krishna from the sea.
