Although it is not known whether Yamaha’s RX100 will ever return, but Swedish electric two-wheeler company RGNT has reminded people of Yamaha RX100 by launching its new electric bike RGNT No.1 Classic.

You must be wondering where RGNT No.1 Classic and where Yamaha RX100 bike was discontinued years ago, so let me tell you that RGNT’s new electric bike looks very much like Yamaha RX100. This bike with retro look and modern features is quite spectacular to see. However, its price is also very good. RGNT No.1 Classic has been launched in European countries for around Rs 10.8 lakh. This electric bike is completely hand made. Yes, the machine has not been used in its production and each of its parts are assembled by the employees of the companies.

Look and design great
Talking about the look and features of the RGNT No.1 Classic sold in the US and European markets, it gets round headlamps, tear drop shaped fuel tank, single piece seat and classy spoke wheels. It also gets features like a 7-inch touchscreen digital instrument cluster, navigation, and LED illumination along with a Bike Control Unit (BCU). Its front has telescopic forks. Also, equipped with a combined braking system, this bike is also tremendous in terms of safety.

This electric bike is quite good in terms of price and features
Great battery range and top speed
Talking about the electric motor, power and battery range as well as top speed, it has a 9 kW electric motor, which generates power of 11 kW i.e. 14.7 bhp. Its 7.7 kWh lithium-ion battery can last up to 110 kms on highways and 160 kms in city rides on a single charge. The company claims that the top speed of RGNT No.1 Classic is 125 kmph. It is possible that in the coming time this can also be introduced on Indian roads.
