New Delhi, May 21 (Language) The crime branch of Delhi Police has arrested two people for cheating people by creating fake websites of the government to get slots for Covid-19vaccination.
Police said on Friday that one of the accused Shekhar Periyar was arrested from Siliguri in West Bengal while the other accused Ashok Singh was arrested from Uttarakhand.
Police said that they both created fake websites like the Union Ministry of Health and were offering slots for the Covid-19vaccine for four to six thousand rupees.
Meanwhile, the police arrested a tantric on Friday in connection with the murder and robbery of mother and son in Karawal Nagar area of North East Delhi.
Police said that the accused has been identified as Rahul and that he had conducted a puja at the victims’ house on Wednesday night.
