Kia Motors made a bang in India with the Kia Seltos. The company is now preparing to enter the 7 seater utility vehicle segment in the Indian market. The company has confirmed that in the year 2022, the Kia 7 seater car is going to be launched in the Indian market. This car can be a 7 seater version of Kia Seltos. This business strategy of the company is similar to the strategy of Hyundai. Hyundai launched the 7 seater version of the Creta some time back under the name Hyundai Alcazar.

In the Indian automobile market, the 7 seater Kia Seltos will compete with cars like Hyundai Alcazar, Mahindra XUV700, Tata Safari and MG Hector Plus. The 7 seater Kia Seltos has been spotted during testing.
7 Seater Kia Seltos: Engine & Power
The engine used in Hyundai Alcazar can be used in this car. 1.5L turbo diesel and 2.0L petrol engine options can be used in the car. The car can come with 6 speed manual and 6 speed torque converter automatic.
The current model of Kia has a connectivity system called UVO Connect, which is similar to Hyundai’s BlueLink system. The UVO Connect system has 37 features under 5 categories (Navigation, Safety-Security, Vehicle Management, Remote Control and Convenience). The Connect system gives you features like Artificial Intelligence (AI) based voice commands, Stolen vehicle tracking and immobilization, safety alerts, remote engine start-stop and remote control for air purifiers.
