In an attempt to create history in West Bengal, BJP has deployed a whole army of senior leaders. BJP has welcomed to hold elections in 8 phases. BJP state in-charge Kailash Vijayvargiya demanded from the Election Commission that the elections should not be bloody so stop anti-social elements and listed smugglers in lockup. If they stay out then there cannot be a peaceful election.

The BJP leader demanded that additional officers should also be appointed along with additional security force so that they can keep an eye on the district and people can vote fearlessly. The BJP has been making the law and order of the state an issue since the beginning and BJP leaders are calling the state machinery as Mamta Banerjee or TMC machinery. The BJP is making this an issue even during the campaign. According to a BJP leader, the manner in which political violence has been taking place in West Bengal, the workers have been prepared, their morale is high and they are not afraid of anyone.

For BJP, this election of West Bengal is in a do-or-die situation. According to a BJP leader, there is an atmosphere in favor of BJP at this time, people want change, so we cannot afford to loose a bit. He said that it has been said by the central leadership that at least 1500 small and big rallies are to be held so that every voter can be reached. Apart from this, every polling booth of every assembly constituency has been asked to be in contact with voters through WhatsApp group.

After going from house to house, name cards of PM Narendra Modi are being distributed to the public. On Friday, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh held a rally and now several rallies have been planned for many important faces of the party including UP CM Adityanath, Union Minister Smriti Irani. To supervise the entire election, 22 senior leaders have been deployed, who are handling the responsibility of different assembly constituencies.
