Banda (Uttar Pradesh), May 5 (Language) A case of alleged killing of a youth by crushing his head with stone has come to light in the Lahureta sand mine of Naraini Kotwali area in Banda district of Uttar Pradesh.
Police have registered a case of murder against an unknown assailant in this connection.
Banda Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Mahendra Pratap Singh Chauhan said that the head of a man’s head Shubham Singh (25) of Bhadohi district in Lahureta Balu mine of Naraini Kotwali area has been recovered. Chauhan said that the youth worked as an employee in the sand mine.
He said that prima facie it appears to be killed by crushing his head with a stone. In this connection, an FIR has been sent for postmortem by registering an FIR of murder against the unknown assailant and investigation into the case has been started.
